Spa Sunday Care

Thank you for being part of my live show.
Your air plant was chosen during one of our live auctions, so it carries a little piece of that moment with it. I hope it brings calm, beauty, and a little bit of nature into your space.

Now let’s help your new little plant settle into its home.

First care after arrival

Your air plant just traveled in a box, so it may need a little bit of your love

1. Soak

Place your air plant in a bowl of water for 10–15 minutes.

2. Shake

After soaking, gently shake it upside down to remove any extra water sitting between the leaves.

3. Dry

Place it on a paper towel and let it fully air dry before putting it back into a planter, shell, crystal, driftwood, or display.

This part is very important. Air plants love water, but they do not like staying wet for too long.

What is Spa Sunday?

Spa Sunday is our weekly air plant care ritual.

Every Sunday, people from our tiny plant community give their air plants a little spa day: a short soak, a gentle shake, and a quiet moment of care

It’s simple, but there is something special about knowing that so many plant lovers around the USA are caring for their little ones at the same time.

Your plant is part of that now.

Weekly care

About once a week

Soak your air plant for 10–15 minutes

Shake it upside down

Let it fully dry before placing it back

Keep your air plant in bright, indirect light and make sure it has good air circulation.

A bright room, shelf, windowsill with indirect light, or airy display is usually perfect

Avoid leaving your air plant sitting in water or trapped in a closed container while wet.

A simple way to remember

Soak. Shake. Dry.

That’s the heart of air plant care.

Make your air plant feel at home

I also create handmade pieces designed especially for air plants, including crystal planters, driftwood displays, and small decorative pieces that help turn a simple plant into a beautiful little moment for your home.

Each piece is made by hand with care, texture, and a little bit of magic.

Your air plant does not need soil. It only needs light, air, water, and a special place to live.

Need help with your plant?

If your plant looks stressed after shipping, don’t panic. Air plants can look a little tired after traveling, and a good soak usually helps them perk up.

If something does not look right, send me a message. I’m always happy to help.
